Misdiagnosed bearing side is one of the most common NVH errors. The drone continues at speed because the vibration source was never on the side replaced.

From guesswork to measurement
Every vibration has a frequency. That frequency tells you the source. The software does the matching and gives you a clear direction.
1. Measure
Accelerometers and microphones capture vibration and sound data during a road test or static run-up.
2. Identify
The software matches frequencies to vehicle components such as wheels, engine orders, propshafts, bearings, and other rotating assemblies.
3. Confirm
Objective data replaces subjective opinion. Show the customer the measurement and compare against a known-good baseline.
4. Verify
After the repair, re-test with the same setup. The data confirms whether the fix worked.

Twelve axes: four corners, one test
Each three-axis accelerometer captures fore-aft, lateral, and vertical vibration through one PicoScope channel. Four accelerometers on a four-channel scope cover every corner of the vehicle in one road test.
Simple connection
Plug the lead into one of the BNC ports of the PicoScope oscilloscope and start testing.
Zero configuration
PicoBNC automatic probe recognition identifies each probe and applies the correct settings.
No batteries
PicoBNC NVH probes are battery-free, so they are ready when you are.
Propshaft balancing
When NVH diagnosis points to a propshaft vibration, on-vehicle balancing can be faster and cheaper than replacement.
Guided, on-vehicle balancing
The PicoDiagnostics balancing software, combined with the PQ316 optical sensor kit, measures shaft vibration and calculates where to add weight and how much.
