LARGE ACTIVE AREA
The GP-9 handles large formats - up to 36" x 48"/E-size drawing (90 cm x 120 cm/AO-size drawings) - and the XL version up to 40" x 60" (100 cm x 150 cm) without requiring a tablet. The unit can be used to digitize projected images, X-rays and film, as well as maps or drawings.
RUGGED CONSTRUCTION IN A PORTABLE UNIT
A low-profile unit with single-piece fabrication and a small footprint - 1 1/2" x 7" x 26" (6.5 cm x 17.8 cm x 66 cm) - GP-9 and its XL version are ideal for drafting tables, light tables or any surface whether in the office or on the construction site.
PROGRAMMABLE OUTPUT FORMATS
This unit offers the unique ability to choose from eight standard output formats or to program a tailored output. With its on-screen menu for output-format selection, GP-9 series is compatible with all major software packages.
32-FUNCTION TEMPLATE
In addition to its touch-control panel for the five commonly used functions, GP-9Os standard 32-function template allows customization for specific applications, providing maximum flexibility
INSTALLATION
An on-screen menu guides simple one-time initialization; no pin or dip switch setting adjustments are needed.

PRECISION & REPEATABILITY
The GP-9s automatically and continuously calibrate during operation, enhancing precision and repeatability.
Input Devices
Stylus or 4-button cursor. SUPPORTS ALL PLATFORMS The GP-9 Series operates with all major hardware configurations from PCs to workstations.
APPLICATIONS
Architecture: Digitize large-scale renderings on any surface without the constraints of a tablet.
Engineering/CAD: Work with any CAD software.
Medical: Digitize X-ray film.
Medical: Digitize X-ray film.
Construction: Digitize on-site from drawings, film and projected images. Portability, large active area and exclusive programmable output functions make the GP-9 Series the new professional standard for CAD, architecture, engineering, construction and medical applications.
SONIC DIGITIZING TECHNOLOGY
Sonic digitizing technology is based on a simple fact: By measuring the time it takes for the sonic impulse to travel from a sound generator (cursor or stylus) to a receiver (microphone), the distance between the generator and the receiver is calculated. The distance is then formatted into standard computer language for output to a processing system. The host computer uses this information as input for a variety of software applications.
