The new PicoScope beta release, 6.13, adds Modbus RTU and ASCII to its growing list of serial decoders. Modbus is used in industrial automation to communicate with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
PicoScope 6 now supports a total of 18 serial protocols and is the only oscilloscope that can decode Modbus.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You can use PicoScope to decode data from a serial bus such as CAN bus. Unlike a conventional bus analyzer, PicoScope lets you see the high-resolution electrical waveform at the same time as the data. RS232/UART and SPI formats added to serial decoding mode
Active Oscilloscope Probes
This range includes high-voltage probes that extend the input range of your scope, and high-frequency probes that boost its input impedance for more accurate measurements.
All active probes require a power supply or batteries. Our battery-powered probes are supplied complete with batteries, while optional AC adaptors are available for the externally powered types. Read our application note: Choosing the right Pico Technology active differential probe.
25 MHz, 700 V Differential oscilloscope probe x10/x100 (TA041)
The TA041 is an active differential oscilloscope probe. The probe permits the measurement of signals which are not referenced to earth using a conventional earthed oscilloscope. This enables mains voltages to be tested. It is possible to measure and observe the waveforms of three phase supplies or the gate/control signals of semiconductor circuits. It is ideal for investigation of motor speed controls, uninterruptible power supplies, switch mode power supplies and process controllers.
70-100 MHz, 700-7000 V Differential oscilloscope probes (TA042, TA043, TA044)
The TA042, TA043 and TA044 are active differential oscilloscope probes. They let you use a conventional earthed oscilloscope to measure signals that are not referenced to ground, including mains voltages. They can also be used to measure and observe the waveforms of three-phase supplies or the gate and control signals of semiconductor circuits. They are ideal for investigating motor speed controls, uninterruptible power supplies, switch mode power supplies and process controllers.
