Get 4,000 Foot Range With 9-Pin, Port-Powered Converters B&B's port-powered RS-422 converters change TD and RD RS-232 signals to balanced RS-422 signals. Model 422PP9TB is powered from the RS-232 handshake lines DTR and RTS, regardless of whether these lines are high or low. No handshake control is necessary to operate the unit and the RS-422 driver and receiver are both always enabled.
The 422PP9TB can be externally powered with a 12 VDC power supply. RS-232 Connector, DB9 Female. RS-422 Connector, Terminal Blocks.
