Shock Transportation Data Logger MSR175Pro
Press Release - NEW PRODUCT

Transporting transformers and other heavy-load goods often involves high financial risks. Damage can reach millions and typically leads to complex liability issues. The new MSR175Pro has been specifically developed for the energy sector: precise shock monitoring up to ±40 g, more than 1,000 recordable shock events, and filtered measurement across relevant frequency ranges. Avail end Jan, 2026

Press release here.

Priced at under $1,000 USD.

Datalogger MSR145 in use for a Space Project in Costa Rica

Datalogger MSR145 in use for a Space Project in Costa Rica

The Central American Association of Aeronautics and Space, ACAE, is a group made of students, professionals and enthusiast members that want to foster the aerospace technology in Central America. This group, with the help of Project Aether and Ad Astra Rocket Company Costa Rica, has made three helium filled balloon launches that are designed to reach an altitude of 30 km, this is three times the altitude of a commercial airplane, getting close to the boundary of space. The payloads are composed of an aluminum structure which supports a HD camera that records continuous video, a GPS that is used to follow the trajectory of the balloon and recover the payload when it lands and a temperature datalogger.

For the fourth launch, the ACAE wants to include cutting edge technology sensors that will allow them to gather pressure (altitude), temperature, humidity, acceleration and light measurements in a single, reliable and light device, instead of having a datalogger for each variable as they did in the past. For this reason, a MSR145 Datalogger, 900mAh, equipped with internal 3-axis-acceleration sensor, external temperature sensor, external humidity sensor and external pressure sensor will be used.
