MSR SmartCloud: Measured data online, anywhere and at any time

Storing data online, monitoring measured values remotely and, if required, sharing them with multiple users – the MSR SmartCloud offers you these options.

The MSR SmartCloud is our solution for remotely monitoring the measured data of MSR data loggers. This cloud solution managed by MSR Electronics GmbH stores the data measured by MSR data loggers in a database. Via web access to the MSR SmartCloud, you can view the measured data of your MSR data logger at any time and from anywhere during operation.

Monitor, document, alert

In the MSR SmartCloud you can view the latest measured values of your MSR data loggers (MSR145WDMSR385WD) in a summary. The measurements can be represented as graphs and, if required, exported as a PDF report. If certain limit values are exceeded, the SmartCloud alerts the user via e-mail.

The owner of an MSR data logger with access to the MSR SmartCloud has the opportunity to grant additional users read permission for the measured data of a defined data logger. This way, a company’s employees can view the data that falls within their remit, whilst the configuration of the data logger is reserved for the administrator of the data logger.

Monitoring by means of the MSR SmartCloud, wherever you are

We particularly recommend remote monitoring by means of the SmartCloud

  • if there is a geographical distance between you and the data logger,
  • if you or other participants would like to view the ongoing measurements via the web,
  • if you or other participants are to be alerted if a certain value is exceeded.

The MSR data loggers and the MSR SmartCloud can be used to safely and automatically monitor values such as the temperature, humidity and pressure, for instance if the objective is to monitor the climate of objects d’art in a museum, or if regulations concerning the monitoring and documentation of the storage of pharmaceuticals must be adhered to.

Compatible data loggers

The two wireless data loggers with display – the MSR145WD and the MSR385WD – are capable of sending measured data to the MSR SmartCloud.

In the case of the MSR145WD data logger, the data can be transmitted to the MSR SmartCloud by the free MSR DataLogger app for mobile devices or via the BLE receiver box, which is available separately.

The MSR385WD data logger with wireless sensors is capable of transmitting the measured data directly to the MSR SmartCloud via its GSM terminal that is available as an optional extra. The connection with the MSR SmartCloud is established via the mobile network.
