Introduction

DAQVBX is a set of Visual Basic eXtensions (VBX) for Microsoft Visual Basic Version 2.0 or higher. When added to the Visual Basic Toolbox, DAQVBX's custom controls give programmers the ability to communicate with Advantech I/O boards, PCIA-71, and ADAM modules in a way that has never been easier. DAQVBX encapsulates all of the complexities of low-level I/O programming into a high level interface that is easy to use and understand. With DAQVBX, Visual Basic programmers can now spend their time designing useful applications instead of writing hardware routines.

For Windows applications other than Visual Basic, there is our DLL drivers. These drivers support all of the features of our LabCards. The installation program and extensive help files make programming in Windows easy.

• Supports all hardware functions: analog I/O, digital I/O, temperature, pulse output, and counter and
  frequency measurement.
• Software trigger with single channel conversion
• Software trigger with multiple channel conversion
• Pacer trigger with multiple channel conversion
• Pacer trigger with interrupt or DMA transfer
• Sampling rate up to 200 KHz using DMA transfer
• Support multiple I/O boards with multiple expansion boards
