There are also some new accessories to accompany the new scopes notably a new high-speed 10:1 attenuator, and a completely redesigned COP probe that is also useful in picking up other signals around the vehicle and incorporates a flexible neck to improve access (we plan on launching the new kits with the old COP as the new COP is slightly behind schedule for the launch).
We intend to support the existing product with availability of spares and repair until at least January 1st 2022. Software updates will continue to be issued free of charge, and will include support for the existing 4223/4423 product wherever practical, note that new features (such as ConnectDetect™), which are not supported in the previous hardware cannot be retrospectively introduced for the older devices.
