The RelayGoose II environmental monitor provides Web-based remote surveillance of temperature and additional sensors connected to the unit. It comes equipped with 4 digital and 6 analog sensor ports, LCD display with scrolling measurements, built-in audible alarm and 3 relay output ports. It is especially useful for monitoring environmental conditions in critical applications such as data centers, server rooms, network closets or other critical facilities. The relay outputs allow for automatic response upon alarm.
Easily view and log temperature, relative humidity, dew point, airflow, light, sound and external sensors connected to the unit over the intranet or the Web. No software required - securely access the graphical user interface from a web browser. Power adapter included. Supports both digital and analog sensors. RelayGoose II supports the IOE and Remote Power Manager X2.
Built-in Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Built-in PoE converges power and data in between the switch and the RelayGoose II-P, eliminating the need for electrical wiring. Power adapter is provided for applications without PoE support.
SNMP, Email, SMS & Voice Call (Dialer Required) Alerts
The RelayGoose II can trigger multiple alarms if temperature or additional sensors fall outside of specified parameters via SNMP (v1, v2c, v3), email and SMS messages (e-mail to SMS gateway). In addition, an external voice dialer with backup battery can be triggered to call up to nine telephone numbers until the alert has been acknowledged.
Relay Outputs
The RelayGoose II has three relay output ports that are controlled by the alarm conditions you select. The relays can trigger an external auto-dialer, flashing lights, back-up a/c (via contactor) and/or other external devices. The three relays can be programmed for any combination of sensor, and high or low set points, as well as alarm conditions triggered by contact closures. The relays can also be programmed to turn off when conditions return to normal, or programmed to remain latched and require a manual reset. Additionally, you may energize or de-energize a relay anytime over the web interface.
View Charts and Graphs on the Web
The RelayGoose II serves active Web pages displaying real time readings and graphs of temperature, humidity and dew point in addition to data logs in standard format (downloadable as XML or CSV file). Graphing scales are fully adjustable.
Interface Network IP Cameras
The Web page interfaces up to four IP cameras (not included), allowing you a quick view of remote conditions, especially useful in event of alarm.
No Software Required
The RelayGoose II is simple to install and use, requiring no special software other than a standard Web Browser. The RelayGoose II connects to an Ethernet Network with a standard RJ45 connector and sends data in standard TCP/IP packets. It is easily configured with a simple menu using a Web Browser and can be password protected with 3 access account level types: Administrator, Control, View Only. From within an Intranet or over the Internet, the user can securely access the monitor by entering its IP address.
