The WatchDog 100 is a self-contained unit with on-board temperature and humidity/dew-point sensors. It has an input capacity of eight external sensors and an output of one NO/NC relay contact for triggering external devices like an auto-dialer. Containing an internal web server this unit operates completely stand-alone with no supporting PC or client software required. Internal sensors include temperature, humidity, air flow, light level, and sound level, plus three analog input ports. An internal 5 port serial port hub makes adding remote sensors easy. The user needs only a Web Browser to view the environment conditions. The unit creates internal HTML (Web) pages, e-mail and paging alerts. A full SNMP MIB is included. One WeatherGoose II can monitor 16 remote sensors. A small plug-in wall transformer provides power. The WeatherGoose II is integrated into a 19" 1-U high rack mounted panel.

This add-on accessory presents real time logging and graphing of voltage, amperage, real power, apparent power, power factor and kilowatt-hour to provide trend analysis and power metrics for future planning. The device enables users to set alarm thresholds for above mentioned measurements and remotely reboot locked systems or control system power via the secure user interface from anywhere in the world.

Install your MiniGoose 1 in this rack-mounted option and you get 16 remote sensor ports. The MiniGoose 1 is not included. Lets you avoid using a lot of telephone splitters to get a bunch of remote sensors.
Battery-powered, 1-U rack-mount temperature sensor. Put the end of the included 12' temperature sensor cable in the hottest spot of your blade server or other high heat-producing equipment. /- 0.5°C accuracy. Batteries should last well over a year. Uses two AA cells (not included, rip them out of your old AM/FM radio). Unit reads hundreds, tens and units. Cycles between F and C readings. Low battery alarm.
